Quality Control
The OLYMPION CHANION Recovery and Rehabilitation Center, for In-patients and Out-patients, is a modern, high end facility and one of the most conclusive facility of its kind in Europe. It provides recovery and rehabilitation services to people who have mobility disabilities from injuries or diseases and functional limitations due to diseases of the cardiorespiratory system, post-surgery conditions etc., with a specialized rehabilitation team consisting of experienced medical, nursing and therapeutic staff.
The aim is the provision of comprehensive healthcare treatment to every Greek and International patient by the experienced medical and scientific personnel.
The vision of the Management and the staff of the “OLYMPION CHANION S.A.” Recovery & Rehabilitation Center is the continuous improvement of the services provided in order to meet the needs and expectations of those recognized as interested parties and the other involved parties of the National Health System.
In the context of the effort to continuously improve the services provided, a Quality Management System adapted to the requirements of the International Standards ISO 9001:2015 & ΕΝ 15224:2017 was studied, installed & implemented.
The Management of the Recovery & Rehabilitation Center of OLYMPION CHANION S.A. is committed to:
- ensuring the protection of confidential customer information
- ensuring the security of the personal data of patients and employees through compliance with the European GDPR Data Protection Regulation
- the continuous monitoring of operations through a framework of indicators that are updated at regular intervals
- the monitoring and management of incidents, near misses and adverse events
- defining the measurement and monitoring of quality dimensions
- the strict monitoring and management of the clinical processes of the Rehabilitation Center as well as the clinical risks that may arise from them
- the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System
- the monitoring of the clinical processes of the Rehabilitation Center and their integration into the processes of the sector, through a specific framework of approvals and trainings
- the continuous provision of high quality health, safety and service services to customers that comply with the requirements of the quality dimensions of the ISO 9001:2015 & EN 15224:2017 standards.
The goals of the OLYMPION CHANION S.A. Recovery & Rehabilitation Center are the following:
- The provision of personalized health care services to meet the needs, wishes and privacy of interested parties.
- The high availability of reliable services to patients / examinees and other interested parties.
- Adherence to hygiene and safety rules for patients, escorts and employees of the Rehabilitation Center
The objectives will be achieved through:
- The continuous improvement of the satisfaction of patients / examinees, escorts and other interested parties through the provision of reliable healthcare services given the available resources and infrastructure
- The management of suggestions and complaints of the interested parties
- The continuous training, specialization and evaluation of the staff of the Rehabilitation Center
- Continuously monitoring indicators and making decisions based on the data derived from them
- Identifying, evaluating and managing potential risks related to the activities of each department and taking measures to prevent / deal with them
- The management of changes that may affect the quality of the services provided in such a way as to ensure the smooth operation of the Rehabilitation Center
- The definition of specific operating specifications which are systematically checked and updated.
- The enrichment and expansion of business knowledge
- The continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System
The declared Quality Policy is in line with the Company's objectives, legal and regulatory requirements and with the mutually agreed upon requirements of the customers. It is communicated, understood, implemented and adhered to at all levels of the organization, reviewed for continued appropriateness, addresses communication issues appropriately and is supported by measurable objectives.
A basic condition for the achievement of the Company's goals is the understanding of their importance by all employees. Consequently, every employee participates in the achievement of these goals by contributing to the proper observance of the Quality Management System, in accordance with the International Standards ISO 9001:2015 and EN 15224:2017.
This Quality Policy is kept up to date, communicated to the staff and available to the interested parties.
