The Department offers an especially designed compartment (recreation of home spaces, fully equipped) and a variety of assisting equipment and technical means. Experienced ergotherapists train people with brain paralysis, cranial brain injuries, strokes, muscular dystrophy, psychomotor delay – immaturity, syndroms (Down – Reet – Angelman etc), autism, mental retardation, sensory completion dysfunctions, etc.

With the use of therapeutic guided activities, rehabilitation, growth and improvement of motor, sensory, knowledge and cognitive, social, personal abilities are obtained as well as the independent execution of daily activities (feeding, transportation, dressing up, wearing shoes, personal hygiene, etc).

The Ergotherapy Department consist of:

• Complete anti gravity system of functional retraining for injuries of the brachial plexus and the hand (Armeo Spring and Biometrics). With the above mentioned equipment and the brilliance of the therapists, the early rehabilitation of the neurological and neurosurgical cases in regards to light cases of upper extremity post stroke or neurosurgical procedures of the brain.
• Complete system for the training of people with disabilities, in self-service.
• P/C system with biofeedback programs for the education towards self-service.
• Therapy banks
• Light type wheel chairs with detachable arms – folding, for the use of patients and educators.
